NIFT Entrance Exam 2024 Result For Admission To Master's Programme Declared, Know how to check the result

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the results of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam 2024 for admission to the master's program. Candidates who appeared for the exam can retrieve their scorecards from the official website.

The NTA conducted the NIFT exam 2024 on February 5 across 72 examination centers spread across 60 cities. Successful candidates underwent stage 1 examinations for master's programs, followed by an interview session in stage 2. The final stage tests for NIFT were held from April 1 to 6 in New Delhi.

For the B.Des program, the final result was determined by factoring in CAT, GAT, and a Situation Test. Meanwhile, for the M.Des program, the final result was based on CAT, GAT, and a Personal Interview (PI). For other PG courses, the final result was based on GAT and PI scores. Notably, the final result for B.F.Tech was solely based on GAT scores.

The candidate's merit rank or scores in the final results will be utilized to shortlist candidates for NIFT 2024 counseling.

Step-by-step guide to check NIFT 2024 results

• Visit the NTA NIFT admission portal.
• Click on the result link.
• Enter your application number, date of birth (or password), and security pin.
• Upon successful login, the result will be displayed on the screen.

NIFT Counseling 2024

The counseling for NIFT 2024 will take place from May to June 2024.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will organize centralized counseling for the 18 participating NIFTs. Qualified candidates from the NIFT 2024 entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the counseling process.

It's important to note that NTA will not oversee the counseling process as their responsibility is limited to conducting the entrance exam and declaring results.
NIFT 2024 counseling will involve multiple rounds of seat allotment, followed by SPOT rounds. In case of vacant seats after the regular counseling rounds, they will be offered in the SPOT round.

Additionally, besides the participating NIFTs, scores from NIFT 2024 will also be utilized by other institutes for admission purposes. For instance, the World University of Design (WUD) will allocate some of its UG and PG seats based on NIFT 2024 merit ranks.
To be considered for admission, candidates must directly apply to WUD.
