Application Form for NIFT 2024 On December 5, 2024, the NIFT application form 2024 was launched. Candidates can fill for the NIFT Entrance Exam application form on the institute's official website.

The following are quick procedures to completing the NIFT application form:

  • Visit the NIFT official website.
  • Select the registration link.
  • Enter your name, date of birth, category, and email address to create a login ID.
  • Complete the NIFT application form.
  • Upload a scanned photo and signature in JPG/JPEG files that are less than 50 KB in size.
  • Pay the NIFT application fee of INR 2,000 (Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PH applicants) online.
  • Print the NIFT Entrance Exam application form.

Exam Structure

The examination format for NIFT 2024 is outlined as follows:

  • Examination Mode: The test will be administered online.
  • Question Type: The paper will comprise Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Medium: The paper will be accessible in both English and Hindi languages.
  • Total Questions: The B.Des exam will consist of a total of 100 questions, while the M.Des exam will have 120 questions.

Syllabus

  • Quantitative Ability: This section assesses questions related to Addition, Multiplication, Division, Percentages, Fractions, Rate of Interest, Proportion and Distance, Work and Task, and Distance.
  • Communication Ability and English Comprehension: This subsection aims to evaluate language proficiency, including synonyms, antonyms, plural, singular, words with corresponding meanings, idioms and phrases, correct spellings, etc.
  • Analytical Ability and Logical Ability: This test evaluates candidates' capacity for inference and logic, assessing their ability to identify problems and apply reasoning to solve core issues.
  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs: This sub-test assesses candidates' general knowledge and awareness of current affairs.
