The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has commenced the registration process for NIFT counselling 2024. This process includes both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website, nift.admissions.nic.in. The application deadline is June 11th.

According to an official notice, candidates who have cleared the selection process and secured a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) should register and fill their preferences by midnight on June 11th, 2024. The official statement reads, "All the candidates, who have successfully cleared the selection process and secured a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) as per the final result declared for NIFT Admissions-2024, should register and fill their preferences for academic programmes by 12.00 PM (midnight) on 11th June, 2024."

Follow these steps to register for NIFT counselling 2024:

  • Visit the official website: nift.ac.in
  • Click on the 'Register for Counselling' link.
  • Provide your login details, including your application number and date of birth.
  • Fill in all the necessary information, including your domicile state and alternative contact details.
  • Submit the form after uploading the required documents as per the specifications.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Save and download the registration form for future reference.

Verification of Eligibility

The institute requests candidates to verify their eligibility based on the guidelines provided in the prospectus and seat allocation rules on the website. "Candidates should ensure that all the required documents to be uploaded on the portal for the programme are as per the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the prospectus/admissions guidelines-2024," said the institute.

Special Counselling Categories

Counselling for students who applied under the artisan or ward of artisan category is being conducted separately. These candidates are advised not to participate in the online counselling.
