NIFT 2019: Apply Online For 30 Junior Engineers, Computer Engineers And Asst. Database Admin Posts

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, has invited online applications from eligible and experienced Indian nationals for filling 30 vacancies to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical), Computer Engineer and Assistant Database Administrator on contract for a period of five years through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same started on October 1, 2019 and closes on November 29, 2019 by 5:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for JE, CE and Admin posts through NIFT 2019 must have attained 25 years of age and not be more than 40 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per the NIFT norms and Govt. of India rules.

Candidates (Gen/OBC/EWS) must pay a specified amount of Rs. 1,000 (Assistant Database Administrator post) and Rs. 500 (JE & CE post) respectively as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for JE, CE and Admin posts through NIFT 2019 must possess a B.E/B.Tech; M.E/M.Tech/MCA; Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institute, and must be have knowledge of computer hardware and software with five to six years of work experience in the concerned area/domain as detailed in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for JE, CE and Admin posts through NIFT 2019 will be done through Screening/Written Test followed by Skill/Technical Test.

Candidates selected for JE, CE and Admin posts through NIFT 2019 will be paid emolument in the following scale:

Assistant Database Administrator: Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 per month
JE (Civil and Electrical) & Computer Engineer : Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month per month
