NIC Recruitment 2020 For 495 Scientists And Scientific Assistants, Apply Online Before April 10

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on behalf of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Govt. of India, has invited online applications from qualified and interested Indian citizens for filling 495 vacancies to the post of Scientist-'B' (S&T) and Scientific/Technical Assistant - 'A' (S&T ) through direct selection.

The application-cum-registration process towards the same closes on April 10, 2020 by 5:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Interested candidates applying for Scientists and Scientific Assistants post through NIC Recruitment must not have exceeded 30 years of age (Gen/UR/EWS) as on March 26, 2020 with a relaxation (upper age limit) up to 35 years (SC/ST) and 33 years (OBC - NCL) respectively as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must remit a prescribed amount of Rs. 800 (GM/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only as specified in the advertisement. SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Interested candidates applying for Scientists and Scientific Assistants post through NIC Recruitment 2020 must possess a B.E/B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline; Master Degree in Science (M.Sc); MCA; ME/M.Tech; M.Phil in the concerned discipline from a recognised University/Institute as detailed in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Scientific & Technical posts through NIC Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Written Examination and Interview for Scientist 'B' post, and only through Written Examination for Scientific/Technical Assistants - 'A' post.

Candidates' shortlisted for Scientists and Scientific Assistants post through NIC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month as per the designation.
