NIC Recruitment 2020 For 495 Scientist 'B' And Technical Assistants Post, Apply Online From Today

The National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, through the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), has invited online applications from eligible and interested Indian nationals for filling 495 vacancies to the post of Scientist-'B' Group 'A' (S&T) and Scientific/Technical Assistant - 'A' Group 'B' (S&T ) through direct selection. The application-cum-registration process towards the same starts from February 26, 2020 and closes on March 26, 2020 by 5:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for Scientific & Technical posts through NIC Recruitment must not have exceeded 30 years of age (Gen/UR/EWS) as on March 26, 2020 with a relaxation (upper age limit) up to 5 years (SC/ST) and 3 years (OBC - NCL) respectively as specified in the advertisement.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 800 (GM/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode only as specified in the advertisement. SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Scientific & Technical posts through NIC Recruitment will be done through a Written Examination and Interview for Scientist 'B' post and only through Written Examination for Scientific/Technical Assistant - 'A' post.

Candidates selected for Scientific & Technical posts through NIC Recruitment will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month as per the designation.
