The National Investigation Agency (NIA), India's premier investigating agency under Govt. of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 60 vacancies to the post of Inspector and Sub-Inspector on deputation to be deployed in Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jammu, Raipur and Chandigarh units of NIA. The offline application process towards the same started on June 25, 2020 and closes on July 25, 2020.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Candidates applying for Inspector and Sub-Inspector posts through NIA SI Recruitment 2020 must possess a Bachelor's Degree/Graduation (any discipline) from a recognised University/Institution with relevant years of work experience in handling investigation of criminal cases/intelligence work or IT operations or training in counter terrorism as detailed in the advertisement.

Candidates must also be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Inspector and Sub-Inspectors through NIA SI Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, Personal Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Inspector and Sub-Inspectors through NIA SI Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument under Pay Matrix Level 7 and Level 6 respectively.
