The National Investigation Agency (NIA), India's premier investigating agency under Govt. of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced Indian officers for filling Ten (10) vacancies to the post of Crime Scene Assistant (03), Biology Expert (01), Explosive Expert (04), Cyber Forensic Examiner (01) and Photographer (01) on deputation to be posted in Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Raipur, Jammu and Chandigarh. The offline application process towards the same started on June 2, 2020 and closes on August 2, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Scientific posts through NIA Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 56 years of age as on August 2, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per the Govt. of India guidelines.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Candidates applying for Scientific posts through NIA Recruitment 2020 must possess a Master's Degree in Chemistry or M.Sc in Forensic Science with Chemistry; M.Sc/Master's Degree in the concerned discipline; Bachelor's Degree and Diploma in Photography from a recognised University/Institution, and have relevant years of work experience in the concerned domain as detailed in the notification.

Candidates must also be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department besides possessing computer proficiency.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Scientific posts through NIA Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, Personal Interview/Skill Test (as applicable) and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Scientific posts through NIA Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month as per the post.
