• Select the "Notification of Recruitment for the post of Trainee Engineers/Trainee Officers through GATE 2023 score for NHPC Limited and its Joint Venture (NHDC Limited)" option.
• Register and proceed with the application process.
• Complete the application form with the required details.
• Upload all necessary documents.
• Make the application fee payment.
• Finally, take a printout of the completed application for future reference.

Selection process

The selection process for NHPC Recruitment 2024 involves assessing normalized marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding GATE 2023 paper, along with participation in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Educational Requirements

Candidates should possess an Engineering Degree in a relevant subject or its equivalent, OR MCA, OR M.Sc Degree, or any other relevant qualification.

Age Criteria

The maximum age limit is 30 years. However, relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates. Additionally, there is a relaxation of 10 years for PwBD-General, 13 years for PwBD-OBC, and 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates.

Salary Structure

During the one-year training period, candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 1,60,000 (IDA) (E2), with a 3% increment. Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be appointed as Engineers in the same pay scale with a probationary period of one year. The total annual emoluments for new hires will be approximately Rs. 15 lakh.
