Nashik, June 8, 2015: Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao today inaugurated a new audio-visual centre of the city- based Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU).
Speaking on the occasion, he said the facility will prove helpful for students as well as teachers of the university. Rao said India was on way to become a `mahasatta' (superpower).
The world is looking at India with great expectations and it will be identified as "the country of youths".
The Governor, who is also the Chancellor of YCMOU, later interacted with its students through `Yashwani', the university's web radio.
Maharashtra Water Resource Minister Girish Mahajan and YCMOU Vice-Chancellor Manikrao Salunkhe, among others, were present on the occasion, an official release said.
