On the first anniversary of the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed the nation. During the NEP 2020 event, PM Modi announced a number of important initiatives, including a website dedicated to Artificial Intelligence.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'AI For All' initiative. 'AI for All' is a programme that aims to provide every citizen of the country with a fundamental grasp of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Ministry of Education, and Intel India are driving this initiative. The programme is available at cbseacademic.nic.in/aifforall.html for those who are interested.
The programme, which is one of the largest AI public awareness initiatives in the world, intends to introduce Artificial Intelligence to 1 million citizens in its first year. It is offered in 11 distinct vernacular languages for everyone with digital access to guarantee that everyone has access. The information is also compatible with a variety of talkback applications, making it accessible to persons who are blind or visually impaired.
'AI For All' may be used by students, stay-at-home parents, professionals in any area, and even senior citizens. It is a four-hour self-paced micro-learning programme that is split into two parts: AI Awareness (1.5 hours) and AI Appreciation (2.5 hours). The section on AI Awareness gives a basic grasp of AI, as well as its benefits and drawbacks. The AI Appreciation section assists learners in gaining an overview of the most common AI fields and developing personal learning goals.
Prime Minister Modi tweeted regarding the same and stated that the AI programme will pave the way for an AI-driven economy. The Artificial Intelligence initiative, which is just established, will also make the youth future-oriented.
