Re-check your NEET UG 2026 Round 1 allotment now. The Medical Counselling Committee has posted a fresh “Revised Provisional Result II” for Round 1 today, August 24. The file is labelled accordingly on the UG archive. Do not report to colleges if your details differ. Wait for the final Round 1 result.
This update follows the August 21 revision triggered by a Primary Assessment Centre error in a Persons with Disabilities certificate. Today’s notice again calls the list provisional and opens a short grievance window until 12:30 PM on August 24 through the candidate portal. After that, the list may still change until finalisation.

The second revision can alter your allotted institute, seat, category, or quota. The PDF bears a 9:52 AM timestamp for August 24, indicating a fresh system run. Compare this with the August 21 revised list to identify shifts. Treat any change as indicative only, and hold reporting plans.
Visit mcc.nic.in, open UG Medical Counselling, and log in as a candidate. Download the updated allotment and cross-check institute, course, seat category, and quota against your August 21 list. Also verify college codes to avoid confusion. Save a copy and enable notifications for subsequent updates.
Do not report to the college yet. Use the portal’s grievance system before 12:30 PM today if you spot discrepancies. MCC states, “The Candidates are advised to approach the allotted college/institute only after the declaration of Final Result.” If your category or quota changed within the same institute, be ready to generate a fresh admission letter after finalisation.
The final Round 1 result is still awaited. Keep tracking the UG counselling page and archive, where MCC posts every update first. Note the sequence so far: provisional list on August 20, revised on August 21, and Revised Provisional Result II on August 24. Round 2 dates will follow the final Round 1 release.
