The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the exam city intimation slip for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025. For lakhs of medical aspirants across the country, this is one of the most awaited updates as it brings clarity on where they will be appearing for the exam.

The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in pen-and-paper mode across multiple centers in India.
The exam city slip is an advance intimation to candidates regarding the city where their examination center will be located. It is not the admit card, but it plays an important role in helping students plan their logistics-especially those who need to travel to another city.
The admit cards will be issued separately, closer to the examination date.
This slip will help you understand the location in advance, allowing enough time to arrange travel or accommodation if needed.
The NTA has put support mechanisms in place for any candidate facing difficulty in downloading or verifying their city slip. If you encounter any such problem, you can get in touch with the NTA through:
The exam will be conducted in the traditional offline mode, using OMR sheets, and will test candidates on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The NEET UG 2025 score will be used for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, veterinary, and other related courses across India.
For aspirants appearing for NEET UG from remote or rural areas, knowing the city in advance provides them a fair opportunity to make necessary arrangements. This ensures equal preparation time for all and avoids last-minute panic. The city slip also serves as the first official confirmation that a candidate has been successfully allotted a center for NEET UG 2025.
