The Ministry of Education stated on Thursday that an exam centre has been established in Dubai for the NEET 2021 medical entrance exam, which will be held on September 12. The NEET Exam will be held in Dubai for the first time. The Education Ministry had previously established an exam centre in Kuwait for the country's Indian student community, which was also a first.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Education, the UAE has been designated as a NEET centre outside of India for the first time, according to the Indian Embassy in the UAE.

The NEET-UG application procedure began on 13 July 2021. To comply with Covid-related health guidelines and assure the safety of NEET 2021 candidates, the number of exam centres has been expanded from 155 to 198.

The NEET 2021 Exam was scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2021, but the National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed the exam due to the sudden spike in Covid-19 cases. The NTA has also made a few changes to the medical entrance exam pattern, including the addition of internal choice questions.
Medical aspirants must be 17 years old at the time of admission or will be 17 on or before December 31 of the year of their admission to the first year of UG medical programmes to register for NEET-UG 2021. The maximum age limit for NEET UG is 25 years as of the exam date, with 5-year age relaxation for applicants from the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwD candidates. The application period for NEET 2021 is still open.
