The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a change in the schedule for the NEET SS 2023 examination. The decision was taken in light of the G20 Summit which is planned to be held in September 2023 causing travel restrictions in Delhi.

In addition to the postponement, the board also stated that Srinagar would not feature as an examination city for the NEET SS 2023 due to security factors. This decision has led the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) to request an additional testing centre for candidates from Srinagar.
According to the revised timetable, the NEET SS admit card for 2023 will be released on September 4.
• The question paper for the NEET SS 2023 test will be of 60% of questions from the super specialty field
• 40% of questions will be from related broad specialty
• Applicants need to answer a total of 150 questions
• The duration for answering all the questions is two and a half hours
