The NTA has released an important notice regarding the NEET result 2020. NTA has announced that the NEET result 2020 is totally correct and there are no changes. A few news channels in social media claim that NEET 2020 result announced on October 16 were incorrect. NTA has advised the candidates and parents to not panic regarding the fake news on media/social media. The official notice reads, "This is even being broadcast at local news channels in some cities. The news is totally fake, fabricated, and one-sided only. The news channel should have confirmed from NTA before broadcasting this fake news. In the instant case, a complaint is being filed by the NTA with the cybersecurity cell under the IT Act at Noida, Uttar Pradesh."

The NTA has released an official notice regarding the NEET 2020 result date along with details of Phase-2.
The notice reads, "The Hon'ble Apex Court was pleased to allow NTA to conduct the NEET (UG) 2020 in the second part on 14.10.2020 for the candidates who could not appear in NEET (UG) 2020 on 13.09.2020 for the above-mentioned candidates.
It also reads, "Accordingly, the exam for aforeside candidates is going to be conducted on 14.10.2020 (Wednesday) from 2:00-5:00 pm and the combined result of NEET (UG) 2020 (held on 13.09.2020 and to be held on 14.10.2020), would be declared on 16.10.2020 (Friday).

The Supreme Court of India has directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct a special exam for candidates who have missed the NEET 2020 held on September 13 due to Coronavirus or because of residing in the containment zones.
