NEET PG Result Seat Allotment List Declared

The Medical Council of India (MCI) has released an official notification of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Post Graduate (PG) Round 1 seat allotment results on its official website.

 

Closely 5, 598 candidates have been allotted seats in various colleges across the country for the medical courses.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) 2017 results were declared on January 13, 2017, on the official website.

The examination was held in 86 test centers in 41 cities from December 5- 13, 2016.

This year, the selection procedure of NEET PG candidates has been made on the basis of their All India NEET PG ranking for the 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) medical seats across the country.

How to check the list?

  • Log on to the official website.
  • Click on 'PG Medical Counselling'.
  • Click on 'Allotment Result Round 1'.
  • Enter your roll number or testing ID in the space provided.
  • Click to submit.
  • The list will be displayed.
  • Download and take the printout of the same for future reference.

Important Note:

It is important to note that 50 per cent of these seats will be filled through the two rounds of counseling conducted by MCI till May 9, 2017.

The vacant seats will be submitted back to respective states, which then will be filled by state medical authorities.

About NEET PG:

NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/ MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.It is a single window entrance examination for PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/ MS/ PG diploma courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2017 admission session.
