The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially released the NEET PG 2024 results. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their scores on the NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in. The NEET PG 2024 examination was conducted on August 11, with candidates taking the test across two shifts.

NBEMS has made it clear that there will be no re-evaluation, rechecking, or re-totaling of the answers marked by candidates. The qualifying cutoff percentile for candidates in the General or EWS category is set at the 50th percentile, while it is 40th for SC/ST/OBC candidates (including PwD of these categories) and 45th for UR PwD candidates.
NEET PG 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria:
In instances where candidates achieve the same score, the tie-breaking criteria will be applied in the following order:
- Higher Number of Correct Responses: Preference will be given to candidates with more correct answers.
- Fewer Negative Responses: Candidates with fewer incorrect answers will be ranked higher.
- Age Factor: If the tie persists, older candidates will be placed higher.
- Aggregate Marks in MBBS Professional Exams: If all other criteria are equal, candidates with higher aggregate marks in all MBBS Professional Examinations will be ranked higher.
The NEET PG rank reflects the overall merit position of candidates who appeared for the exam. For Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who obtained their primary medical qualifications abroad, their marks in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) will be considered in percentage terms, rather than aggregate MBBS marks.
Candidates are strongly advised to download and print their NEET PG 2024 results and retain a copy for future use. It is important to note that the validity of the NEET PG 2024 result is restricted to the current admission session (2024-25) for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and cannot be carried forward to future admission sessions.
The NEET PG 2024 results are important for determining eligibility and ranking for postgraduate medical courses across India. Candidates must ensure that they meet the cutoff criteria to be eligible for admission.
