NEET PG 2026 Answer Key & Scorecard to Be Available From October 1

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to make the NEET PG 2026 answer key and individual scorecards available on or after October 1, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the postgraduate medical entrance examination can access the details through their individual login on the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.

NBEMS: NEET PG 2026 Answer Key and Scorecard to Be Available From October 1

The release follows the declaration of the NEET PG 2026 result on September 24, 2026. Candidates will be able to use the question-wise information provided by NBEMS to review their responses and understand how their scores were calculated.

NEET PG 2026 Answer Key: What Candidates Can Check

The answer key will provide more detailed information than a standard result announcement. According to the NBEMS notification, candidates will be able to view the section-wise Question IDs, responses marked by them, the correct answer key ID and marks awarded for each question.

Candidates will see the Question IDs in the sequence applicable to their particular question-paper set. Since questions within a section were shuffled among candidates, the order of Question IDs may differ from one candidate to another.

The response information will also indicate whether an answer was attempted or not attempted. The correct answer will be represented through the applicable answer-key ID, while the marks awarded for each question will allow candidates to compare their responses with the evaluation details.

NEET PG 2026 Scorecard: Six-Month Download Window

NBEMS has stated that individual NEET PG 2026 scorecards will remain available for download for six months from the date of issuance. Candidates are advised to download and preserve the scorecard for counselling and admission-related requirements, as the document will not continue to be hosted after the specified period.

The scorecard contains the candidate's examination performance and other relevant details required for the admission process.

NEET PG 2026 Results and Candidate Concerns

NBEMS declared the NEET PG 2026 results on September 24, 2026. Following the result announcement, some candidates raised concerns about their scores and requested access to the official answer key and recorded responses.

The All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) also wrote to Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda seeking greater transparency in the evaluation process and access to response-related information. These concerns were raised by the association and candidates; they do not by themselves establish that the published results contained errors.

The release of the question IDs, marked responses, correct answer IDs and question-wise scores will allow individual candidates to examine their own examination data.
