The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Post Graduation (NEET PG) 2024 was held on August 11. According to an official spokesperson from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the results are expected to be announced at the end of the month on the official website.

In the first shift, 1,07,959 students attended the exam out of 1,14,276 registered candidates, with 6,317 postgraduate candidates not showing up. NBEMS noted that two centres experienced delays due to technical issues, with the longest delay being one hour and 45 minutes, while three other centres faced delays of less than 30 minutes.

The NEET PG examination saw participation from 2,16,136 candidates across 416 centres in 170 cities within 31 states, highlighting the exam's widespread importance among postgraduate medical aspirants.
In the second shift, out of 1,14,264 registered candidates, 1,08,177 appeared for the exam, while 6,087 were absent. Technical issues caused delays at one venue by up to 55 minutes and at four other centres by less than 30 minutes.
NBEMS reported technical problems that led to delays in both shifts. In the first shift, two centres had a maximum delay of one hour and 45 minutes, while three others were delayed by under half an hour. In the second shift, one centre was delayed by up to 55 minutes and four others by less than half an hour.
The NEET PG results will be available on the official NBEMS website by the end of the month. Candidates are advised to keep checking for updates regarding their results.
Despite minor technical hiccups at some centres, this year's NEET PG examination was conducted smoothly. The anticipation for results is high among postgraduate medical aspirants who appeared for this crucial exam.
