The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to release the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule soon on its official website; mcc.nic.in. The registration process for the first round will commence on September 20 and conclude on September 26. Candidates are required to complete their payments before the window closes at 3 pm on the final day of registration.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Schedule:
After registration, candidates can begin filling their choices for the first round from September 23 to September 26. The option to lock choices will be available from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on September 26. The seat allotment process will take place between September 27 and September 29, with the results set to be published on September 30. Successful candidates are required to report to their allotted institutions between October 1 and October 8.
Second and Third Round Counselling:
For the second round, registration will begin on October 14 and close on October 21. The seat allotment results will be released on October 24, and candidates must report between October 25 and November 2.
The third round of counselling will open for registration from November 7 to November 12, with the results being announced on November 16. Additionally, there will be a stray vacancy round, with registrations starting from November 28 to December 2. The results for this round will be published on December 5.
NEET PG 2024 Exam and Attendance Details:
This year's NEET PG exam took place on August 11, held in two shifts. The first shift ran from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the second shift occurred from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the results on August 23, and they are available on natboard.edu.in.
In the first shift, out of the registered candidates, 1,07,959 students attended the exam, while 6,317 candidates were absent. For the second shift, attendance was recorded at 1,08,177 candidates, with 6,087 absentees.
The official counselling schedule is yet to be uploaded on the MCC's website, and candidates are advised to regularly check for updates to stay informed about the process.
