NEET PG 2021 On April 18, Check COVID-19 Guidelines For Exam Day
The NEET PG 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on 18 April 2021. In view of the current situation of the COVID-19 outbreak, the NBE has released a set of guidelines for candidates appearing for NEET PG 2021.
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has issued an advisory for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG (NEET PG) aspirants regarding COVID-19. The NEET PG 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on 18 April 2021. In view of the current situation of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Board has released a set of guidelines for candidates who will be appearing for NEET PG 2021 on the NBE official website natboard.edu.in.
"Considering the importance of the examination in admitting post-graduates in their respective subjects for further training, it is in the best interest of candidates to continue to hold this examination on the announced date. Therefore, it has been decided to add further protective measures for the candidates, towards the safe conduct of this examination," reads the official notification by the Board.
The candidates appearing for NEET PG 2021 Examination can check the COVID-19 Guidelines for the Exam day given below.
- This year, the number of exam centres has been increased by NBE across the country to ensure maintaining social distancing between candidates.
- The NBE will be issuing a COVID E-PASS to each candidate to facilitate the movement of students on the exam day.
- The candidates have to report to the NEET PG exam centre as per the allotted time slot to avoid crowding at the exam centre. The NEET PG 2021 exam will be held in multiple slots to manage the crowd at the exam centre.
- The candidates' temperature will be checked at the entry point and they will be subject to thermal scanning before taking the exam. The candidate showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have a higher temperature than normal will have to give the exam in an isolation lab.
- Each candidate will be provided with a Covid-19 protective gear safety kit at the NEET PG 2021 entry point. It will be mandatory to wear a face shield for candidates. The kit will contain face mask, a face shield, and sanitiser.
- After the completion of the exam, the candidates will have to exit the NEET PG 2021 exam centre in a staggered manner to avoid crowding at the gate.
