The results of the post graduate medical entrance examination has been declared on Friday. Titled National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG) 2017, the results will be available on the NEET official website.
The candidates must have secured at least 50 percentile in the NEET exam, to be eligible for admission to any postgraduate programme.
The declaration of the All India 50 per cent quota seats will also be available on the official website. A total of 31,330 candidates have been qualified in several categories to participate in online counselling for All India 50 per cent quota seats. This is in accordance with the guidelines provided by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)/MoHFW, Government of India.

Cut off scores for different categories based on reservation is mentioned below:
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for post graduate programs such as MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
No other entrance examination is required for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Institutions such as PGIMER, Chandigarh; SGPGIMS, Lucknow; JIPMER, Puducherry; NIMHANS, Bengaluru and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum however are excluded from NEET's jurisdiction.
