The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the NEET MDS 2024 notification on January 30. The application process for NEET MDS 2024 commenced today and the deadline for submission is February 19, 2024.

How to apply for NEET MDS 2024?

- On the homepage, click on the NEET MDS link.
- A new page will appear on the screen.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Take a printout for future reference.
The application fee for NEET MDS 2024 is ₹3500 for General, OBC, and EWS, while for SC, ST, and PWD candidates, the fee is ₹2500.
NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill certain requirements to be eligible for NEET MDS 2024. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria set by NBE will result in disqualification, and candidature may be canceled at any stage of the admission process. Candidates should adhere to the following eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2024:
- Possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a University/Institute recognized by the DCI.
- Be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) (permanent/provisional).
- Complete 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2024.
NEET MDS 2024 Exam Pattern
The NEET MDS 2024 exam pattern, detailed in the official information brochure, encompasses essential information such as the exam mode, language, total questions, and duration.
Following the established NEET MDS pattern, the exam will be conducted in computer-based mode, and the medium will be English. The exam will consist of 240 objective questions, each carrying four marks, and candidates will be allotted three hours to complete the test. A penalty of 25 per cent marks deduction will be applied for each incorrect answer. The exam is scheduled from 9 AM to 12 noon.
The NEET MDS 2024 exam will be divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A will feature 100 questions, while Part B will include 140 questions. The exam will cover a total of 10 subjects or sections, with 14 and 15 questions allocated to each.
NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card
The NEET MDS 2024 admit card will be available online. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will upload the admit card for candidates who have successfully applied and meet other eligibility criteria. It is important to note that the NEET MDS 2024 admit card will not be dispatched to individual candidates; instead, they must download it from the official website. The admit card can be accessed through a login ID and password. Crucial details such as name, date of birth, exam date, timing, name and address of the center, and exam guidelines will be specified on the NEET MDS admit card 2024. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam center for candidates to be allowed to appear in the exam.
