The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is scheduled to release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 counselling date soon, much to the delight of lakhs of medical aspirants throughout the country. The NEET 2021 counselling will be held for students seeking admission to medical colleges across India for the MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AHA, and BSc Nursing courses.
The OCI applicants can also apply for Open Category seats along with Indian nationals from this year. Earlier, OCI candidates were allowed for NRI seats or quotas throughout the admissions process.
MCC will offer NEET counselling for 15 percent of AIQ seats, while state authorities will be accountable for 85 percent of state quota seats. Candidates must apply for a separate AACCC counselling process in order to be considered for admission to AYUSH courses.

NEET Counselling 2021: Date
On November 1, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET 2021 Result, along with the qualifying cut-off marks.
The NEET 2021 Counselling dates will be announced after the release of the official notification at the official website. You can choose your preferred colleges for the counselling schedule. The result of the first round of seat allocation is expected to be announced in December. After the results of the First Round are released, another round of counselling will be implemented.
NEET Counselling 2021: Registration
Candidates who scored higher than the NEET 2021 cut-off can apply for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats online at mcc.nic.in. These seats are available across India for various undergraduate medical and allied programmes.
Candidates must register for NEET 2021 counselling and provide personal information as well as pay a registration fee.
NEET Counselling 2021: Documents Required
Candidates must have the following documents with them while reporting to the allocated institute for seat confirmation. Candidates must bring both the original and photocopies of the documents listed below.
- Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
- NEET admit card 2021
- NEET result 2021 or rank card
- 6-8 passport-sized pictures
- Valid, non-expired, and government-issued photo ID proof
- Certificate of Caste (if applicable)
- Certificate of Disabilities (if applicable)
- Provisional allotment letter
NEET Counselling 2021: Procedure

NEET Counselling 2021: Seat Allotment
