NEET 2021 Exam Will Be Held On September 12: Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

NEET 2021 Exam Date: Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the NEET UG 2021 exam date is on September 12.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced the NEET 2021 exam date. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NEET UG 2021 exam on September 12. He also announced that the online registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) Exam will start tomorrow, i.e., July 13. The entrance exam will be held in 11 languages across the country. Students who are seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses are advised to keep visiting the official website for the official Information Bulletin.

NEET 2021 Exam Will Be Held On September 12

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted "The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s)."

Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted, "In order to ensure social distancing norms, number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020."

He also said, "To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, face mask will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured.

NEET 2021 Exam On September 12

The NTA will conduct the NEET (UG) 2021 exam on September 12 (Sunday) in pen and paper mode. The written exam will be held once a year. Candidates who desire to appear in the NEET exam are advised to visit the official websites: https://nta.ac.in and https://ntaneet.nic.in

Every year, NTA conducts NEET-UG for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses. The NEET-UG 2021 exam result may also be used by other institutes for admission or counselling to relevant courses (including B.Sc. (Nursing) and B.Sc. (Life Sciences)).
