The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is all set to announce a National Yoga Quiz Competition for students on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2021. The National Online Yoga Quiz Competition was introduced with the aim to promote the integration of Yoga in the school curriculum. Students can participate in the National Yoga Quiz Competition till July 20, 2021. There is no participation fee. One can get a chance to win merit certificates. What Is National Yoga Quiz Competition?
The NCERT has developed textual material titled "Yoga: A Healthy Way of Living" for Upper Primary and "Yoga-A Healthy Way of Living for Secondary stage. As part of the MHRD, Yoga Olympiad as a venture has been organised on the occasion of International Yoga Day from 2016 to 2019 by NCERT. All schools and institutes are closed due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19). Hence, an online National Quiz Competition on Yoga has been introduced. The newly designed online quiz will motivate students to develop a healthy habit and lifestyle.

National Yoga Quiz Competition Instructions
- The quiz will be in the multiple-choice format.
- Each question carries one mark.
- The duration of the test is 20 minutes.
- The quiz questions are prepared in both English and Hindi.
- There is no negative marking.
- The answer keys will be published after the closure of the quiz.
