NARL Recruitment For Research Associates/JRF 2019

National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), a research institute working with the Depart of Space, Govt. of India, has invited ONLINE applications for the posts of Research Associates (RA)/Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at its end by 14 January 2019.

Candidates applying for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) should be less than 30 years of age and not more than 35 years for Research Associate/Post Doctorate Fellow (RA/PDF) with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC categories.

Educational Credentials For RA/PDF/JRF

Candidates applying for the posts of Research Associate/Post Doctorate Fellow (RA/PDF). Code 01, should hold a Doctorate in the any one of the areas - Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Space Science/Computational Electromagnetics or hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in First Class (60%) with an added experience in research for at least 3 years alongside research publication in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Code 02, must hold a Post-graduate degree in any one of the disciplines/subjects - Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Space Physics/Meteorology with a 60% marks or equivalent grade and should have also qualified in any one of the following eligibility tests - CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/JAM/JEST.

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-Code 3, must hold an M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. (Engg.) in First Class (60%) or an equivalent PG degree in Applied Optics/Optics/Optical Engineering/Laser & Electro-Optical
Engineering/Photonics and should also qualify in any one of the following eligibility tests - CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/JAM/JEST.

PayScale:

Candidates applying for the post of Research Associate (RA)/Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) will be entitled for a fellowship amount of Rs. 36,000/- per month + HRA (RA I); Rs.38,000/- per month + HRA (RA-II); Rs.40,000/- per month + HRA (RA-III). Candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be entitled for a fellowship amount of Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA.

The selection of candidates for various posts at NARL will be done through screening of applications by a duly constituted screening experts committee.
