The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced Indian nationals for filling 13 vacancies to the post of Intelligence Officer (IO) on deputation to be posted at the NCB Zones and Sub-Zones located in Delhi, Jammu, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Chennai, Indore, Goa, Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, Imphal and Ranchi. The offline application process towards the same started on August 29, 2019 and closes on October 27, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Intelligence Officers (IO) through Narcotics Control Bureau Jobs must not have exceeded 56 years of age as on October 27, 2019 with a relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per Govt. of India norms.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Intelligence Officers (IO) through Narcotics Control Bureau Jobs must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) from a recognised University/Institute.

Candidates must have minimum three years of experience in enforcement of regulatory laws and collection of intelligence information thereto. However, one-year experience in investigation of economic/criminal offenses is desirable.

Candidates must also be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Intelligence Officers (IO) through Narcotics Control Bureau Jobs will be done through Shortlisting, Written Exam/Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Intelligence Officer (IO) through Narcotics Control Bureau Jobs will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600 as per the 7th Pay Commission norms.
