Mussoorie International School Gets International Baccalaureate Affiliation

December 7, 2016: MIS, one of India's leading boarding school for girls, has become Uttrakhand's first all-girls residential school to be affiliated to International Baccalaureate (IB). MIS has attained International Baccalaureate (IB) World School status for both its Diploma programmes for Class XI & XII.

The International Baccalaureate is a globally recognised education model that opens up prospects for international education for students. With this affiliation from International Baccalaureate (IB) for IB diploma, MIS now gives its higher secondary students a pathway to explore new avenues after completing their schooling at MIS.

 

The IB offers four highly respected programmes of international education that develops the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.

MIS Gets International Baccalaureate Affiliation

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a two-year educational programme primarily aimed at students aged 16-19. The programme is designed to give students a broad, well-rounded international education and the skills needed for success at university and beyond.

The IB Diploma Programme ensures that students are well-rounded and prepares them for higher education and the world of work. The program provides an internationally accepted qualification for entry into higher education and is recognised by many universities worldwide.
