Mumbai University: 9 postgraduate exams postponed

Mumbai University's postgraduate exams have been postponed. Exams for nine post graduate courses scheduled to be held in the month of October is pushed ahead.

 

The delay in the admission followed by in late commencement of courses that has led to incomplete term. The university has made this announcement after examination committee received requests from several colleges.

One of the courses, TYB Com (Semester 6) has been postponed as it was clashing with CA exam. The exam was scheduled to be held on October 29.

Other exams for MA Semester 1 that were scheduled to be held on November 3 will be held on November 11. The MSc and MSc research exams have been postponed by a month, from October 27 to November 30.

Exams for M.A and M.Sc semester 1 for Maths, Statistics and Geography has been pushed ahead from October 27 to November 26.

Dates of exams of following courses have been changed.

  • MA (other than Mathematics, Statistics, and Geography)
  • Credit-based grading system (CBGS) semester-I
  • M Sc (other than Mathematics, Statistics, and Geography)
  • M Sc Research (semester I)
  • MA (Hons) in Sociology (Semester-I)
  • TYBA (five-year integrated course in Russian) (Sem V)
  • MA (Hons) in Politics (Sem I and Sem III)
  • MA (Hons) in Sociology (Sem III)
  • MA (Hons) in Public Policy (Sem II)
