MSBSHSE: Aptitude test for class 10th students to be held in February

Online aptitude test for class 10th students will be conducted in the month of February. First of its kind test aims at clearing student's confusion while choosing subjects for higher education.

 

According to newspaper reports, about 6 lakh students are expected to take the test. The test will also be held offline in those schools, where internet facility is not available.

State school education department for schools affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the tests.

MSBSHSE: Aptitude test for class 10th students

The first test is scheduled to be held in February, ahead of the board examinations, will make the career counseling of students pursuing higher studies or vocational education, easier.

The aptitude test portal is called "Kal Chachni" and over 90 per cent schools affiliated to the state board have registered for the same by the end of December. As per government's resolution, the aptitude test is to help SSC students make correct career decisions.

The responsibility of guiding students on their career choices post results is being entrusted upon the Institute of Vocational Guidance and Selection, Mumbai and its eight regional offices.
