The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), under Govt. of Maharashtra, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 338 Tax Assistants, Sub-Inspectors and Clerk-cum-Typist vacancies through direct recruitment. The application process towards same started on August 28, 2019 and closes on September 11, 2019 by 11:59 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Tax Assistants, SI and Clerks post through MPSC Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 38 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit to reserved categories as per the Maharashtra Govt. and MPSC guidelines.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 374 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 274 (SC/ST/Ex-SM) respectively as application processing fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through SBI Challan mode as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Tax Assistants, SI and Clerks post through MPSC Recruitment must possess a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline); Bachelor's Degree with Marathi and English typing (for Tax Assistants and Clerks post) from a recognised University/Institution.

Candidates must also be proficient in Marathi dialect of matric or its equivalent standard as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Tax Assistants, SI and Clerks post through MPSC Recruitment will be done through a Written Examination (including Skill Test as applicable) and Viva Voce (Interview).
