The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), under Govt. of Maharashtra, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates (male and female) for filling 806 vacancies to the post of Police Sub Inspectors (PSI), Assistant Section Officers (ASO) and State Tax Inspectors (STI) through direct recruitment. The online application process towards same started on February 28, 2020 and closes on March 19, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for PSI, ASO and STI posts through MPSC Recruitment 2020 must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 38 years for ASO and STI posts (31 Years for PSI posts), with relaxation in the upper age limit to reserved categories as per the Maharashtra Govt. and MPSC guidelines.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 374 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 274 (SC/ST) respectively as application processing fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc. payment gateways) mode or through SBI Challan mode as specified in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for PSI, ASO and STI posts through MPSC Recruitment 2020 must possess a Bachelor's Degree; Graduation from a recognised University/Institute, and must be proficient in Marathi dialect of matric or its equivalent standard as specified in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for PSI, ASO and STI posts through MPSC Recruitment 2020 will be done through a Written Examination (Preliminary Examination and Main Exam) and Viva Voce (Interview).

Candidates selected for PSI, ASO and STI posts through MPSC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument as per the MPSC norms.
