MOSPI Recruitment For 48 Consultants And Executive Assistants Post, Apply Offline Before February 29

The National Statistical Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI), Government of India, has invited offline applications in a prescribed format from eligible and experienced Indian nationals for filling 48 vacancies to the post of Senior Consultants, Junior Consultants and Executive Assistants through direct selection to be appointed at its units in Kolkata and Delhi/New Delhi. The offline applications towards the same started on January 29, 2020 and closes on February 29, 2020 by 4:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Consultants and Executive posts in MOSPI must fall in the age group between 40 to 65 years of age as on January 29, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM and EWS candidates are per the Govt. of India guidelines.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for Consultants and Executive posts in MOSPI must possess a Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics/Operations Research/Mathematics or Graduation/Post Graduation in Economics/Econometrics from a recognised University/Insitution with five to fifteen years of (post-qualification) experience in the relevant area.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Consultants and Executives in MOSPI will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Consultants and Executives in MOSPI through will be paid emolument in the following scale:

• Senior Consultants: Rs. 1,00,000 per month
• Junior Consultants: Rs. 70,000 per month
• Executive Assistants: Rs. 35,000 per month

Candidates applying for Consultants and Executives posts in MOSPI must fill the application in a specified format attached with the advertisement, and send the same along with relevant supporting documents to "The Deputy Director General (Admn.), Sankhyiki Bhawan, Block C, 1st Floor, Maharishi Valmiki Marg, Delhi-110032" on or before February 29, 2020 by 4:00 pm through proper channel.

The envelope containing application form and other supporting testimonials must be superscribed as "Application for the engagement as Senior Consultant/Junior Consultant I Executive Assistant"
