The Mizoram Board has conducted the Class 10 board exams owing to the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has conducted the theory Mizoram Class 10th board exams from 1st to 20th April 2021. The practical exams conducted between April 16th and 20th, 2021. The sources suggest that around 18,000 students have appeared for HSLC exams.
Earlier, the Union Government has decided to cancel the CBSE and CISCE Class 10th and 12th board exams after a high-level meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi due to the pandemic. Many state boards have also started cancelling the Class 10th exams following the Centre's decision.
