Ministry of Skill Development Invites Apprentices for ECIL: Apply Now!

An official employment notification has been released by the Electronics Corporation of India Limited, calling out for candidates to apply for the post of Trade Apprentice. Interested and eligible candidates must apply soon before the deadline closes. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is conducting it through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme.

 

According to the Ministry of Skill Development official statement, apprentices get an opportunity of undergoing 'on the job' training and are exposed to real working conditions. They get a chance to work on advanced. machines and equipment's, industry specific best practices and learn more about their field. Apprentices become skilled workers once they have acquired the knowledge and skills in a trade or occupation, which help them in getting wage or self-employment. In addition apprentices get stipend at the prescribed rates during the training.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who would like to apply for Trade Apprentice should have passed ITI certificate in the respective trade.

Age criteria:

Minimum 14 years as on 1st October 2017

Learn his trade carefully and diligently, to attend practical and instructional classes regularly

Salary details

Rs 8655/- Per Month

Selection Process

Selection will be on the basis of marks obtained in ITI.

At the end of training, the apprentice appears at an All India Trade Test conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training in designated trade. Successful apprentice is awarded National Apprenticeship Certificate, which is recognized qualification for employment. For apprentices in optional trade the assessment shall be done with the establishment where they are undergoing the apprenticeship programme.
