Why This Internship Is a Game-Changer?

This program is designed to provide interns with comprehensive exposure to the practical aspects of law. Participants will engage in:

Legal research across diverse domains, including constitutional, financial, and labor law.
Court procedure navigation, honing their advocacy and legal drafting skills.
Advisory duties, fostering a deeper understanding of the judicial and legislative landscape.

This initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world legal application, equipping interns with skills that are pivotal for thriving in the legal profession.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Requirements:

  • Completed at least the second year of a three-year law degree or the third year of a five-year law course.
  • Law graduates from recognized universities are also eligible.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Skills in MS Office, Adobe, and advanced computing tools are advantageous.

Documentation:

  • Students must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their institution.
  • Graduates must submit their final year degree certificates.

Application Process

  • Visit the Internship Portal and complete the application form.
  • Upload the required documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Await notification, as shortlisted candidates will be contacted via the portal or email.

Work Locations and Stipend

Interns will contribute to the Ministry's operations at various locations, including:

  • Main Secretariat in New Delhi.
  • Branch Secretariats in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

A stipend of ₹1,000 will be awarded upon successful completion of the internship. To qualify for the completion certificate, interns must:

  • Maintain a 90% attendance rate.
  • Receive positive evaluations from their supervisors.
