Microsoft Innovation Centre (MCI) at NMAM Institute of Technology

The NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE will be launching Microsoft Innovation Centre (MIC).

The opening of this centre will be held on 13th February 2014, said N Vinay Hegde, Chairman of NITTE Education Trust.

It is one of the innovation centres which is going to open in some of the engineering colleges in the state. NMAMIT has already started training the students on Microsoft Technology programme.

"MIC will provide certificate to the students based on the examination. Around 10 students have already got the job offers in Microsoft company," Vinay said.

Microsoft Innovation Centers (MICs) in the world, are centres for high-technology, research and development of software solutions to the division of the government formed by a special project collaboration.

Nitte Education Trust (R) Mangalore which is a pioneer in the field of education since 30 years, brings in their expertise of 25 Institutions which include Nitte University and institutions of higher education like Engineering, Management, Medicine, Dental, Pharmaceuticals, Paramedical, Higher Education and several other schools in Mangalore and Bangalore.
