MHT CET CAP Round 1 Result 2026 Released

The CAP counselling process is conducted by the Maharashtra CET Cell for admission to BE/BTech programmes offered by government, government-aided, university-managed, and private engineering colleges across the state.

  • Accept the allotted seat through the candidate login.
  • Pay the prescribed seat acceptance fee online.
  • Choose the Freeze option if satisfied with the allotted institute.
  • Select the Betterment option if they wish to participate in subsequent CAP rounds while retaining the current allotment.
  • Report to the allotted institute within the scheduled dates for document verification and admission confirmation.

Candidates allotted their first preference generally have their seats automatically frozen and will not be considered for further regular counselling rounds.
