MHA Invites Applications For Its UT Division

The Ministry of Home Affairs has invited applications for the appointment of individuals as Young Professionals and Consultants with its UT division for the handling of specific and time-bound jobs.

The tenure of appointment of candidates selected as Young Professionals and Consultants for the UT Division of MHA initially will be for a period of 1 year and to be extended for a period of 3 years based on the performance of the candidates.

The candidates selected under the category of Young Professionals will be paid a remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month, and those selected as Consultants will be paid a remuneration of Rs. 80,000/- per month.

Roles And Responsibilities

Candidates selected as Young Professionals will be responsible for coordinating and compiling reports, data and other details from all subject matter Ministers, UT administrators and other concerned authorities for fast-tracking the process of approval and implementation of projects for the holistic development of UT divisions.

Candidates selected as Consultants will be assisting officers of the UT Division in the timely implementation of projects undertaken or to be undertaken under Islands Development Agency (IDA), including in legal matter concerning the UTs.

Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply under specified categories by submitting applications in a prescribed format as mentioned in Annexure-I of the notification.

Applicants must clearly specify the post to which he/she is applying and should provide their genuine email ID as per the laid procedures.
