Merit Candidates List In AP Police Constable Recruitment Exam Released

The merit list of candidates who have attended the Andhra Pradesh Police (AP Police) recruitment to the post of Constables (Civil and AR) has been released.

There was reasonable response for the registration of the exam. The list that is generated now is provisional.

State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh (ASLPRB as referred commonly) had started the recruitment process in the later half of 2016. There was a large number of vacancy for the positions and hence the recruitment process caught much attention.

How to check the AP Police ASLPRB Constable Recruitment 2017 Merit List?

In order to check the AP Police ASLPRB Constable Recruitment 2017 Merit List, follow the steps given here:

  • Go to the official website of ASLPRB at http://recruitment.appolice.gov.in/
  • Candidates can download the list available in the form of .pdf files. 
  • Candidates can download the result file and check against their roll number.

Selection Process

ASLPRB has selected candidates on the basis of their performance in written test (preliminary phase), physical measurement test, physical efficiency test and final written exam.

Only those candidates who had qualified in the first three selection processes were allowed to appear for the final written examination. The final exam comprised of four papers.

What does the official notification read about the selection process?

'The minimum marks to be secured by a candidates in order to qualify in the written examination in each paper is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs/STs and Ex. Servicemen,' said the official notification.
