Medical admissions to be offered only on NEET scores

Ahmedabad: Starting from this academic year 2016-17, National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) percentile will now be the sole requirement to seek admission to medical and dental colleges.

Class 12 marks will not be taken into account while preparing merit list, which enables to offer admissions to medical colleges. However, scoring 50% in class 12 board exams fulfills minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the admissions.
