MBOSE SSLC Exam 2026-27 Schedule Released: Check Subject-Wise Dates

The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released the schedule for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination 2026-27. The Class 10 theory examinations will begin on December 4, 2026, and conclude on December 16, 2026. The detailed routine has been issued for students appearing for the Meghalaya SSLC examination.

The examination will begin with the English paper on December 4, followed by Science on December 7. Most theory examinations will be conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM, while vocational subject examinations will have a shorter duration of one hour.

Students should carefully note the date and timing of each paper and plan their preparation accordingly.

The Indian language paper scheduled for December 9 will include Garo, Khasi, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Nepali, Urdu and Mizo.

MBOSE SSLC Exam 2026-27 Timing and Reporting Instructions

MBOSE has also specified the examination-day schedule for candidates. The examination hall will open before the start of the test, with question papers and answer scripts distributed before candidates begin writing.

According to the announced programme, the question papers will be distributed at 9:45 AM, followed by answer scripts at 9:50 AM, and students will begin writing at 10 AM. The vocational subject papers will conclude at 11 AM.

Students should reach their examination centres well before the reporting time and carry the required admit card and other permitted materials.

MBOSE SSLC Vocational Subjects 2026-27

Students who have opted for vocational subjects will appear for courses including Beauty and Wellness, Tourism, Health Care, Electronics, Agriculture, ITES, Apparels, Plumbing, Food Processing, Telecom, Banking and Automobile.

MBOSE has clarified that these vocational subjects are offered as alternatives to Computer Science or Health and Physical Education.

Students should confirm the subject selected in their examination form and check the timetable carefully before appearing for the paper.

MBOSE SSLC Exam 2026-27: Schedule May Be Revised

The board has stated that the examination programme may be changed in case of unforeseen circumstances or if an important announcement by the state or Central Government coincides with the scheduled examination dates. Candidates should therefore monitor official MBOSE notifications for any subsequent revisions.

MBOSE has also confirmed that the SSLC main examination is scheduled in the first week of December each year from 2025 onwards, with supplementary examinations to be conducted in March from 2026 onwards.
