MANIT's “Recent Advancements in Product Innovations and Design”

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, invites participation for short term training programme on "Recent Advancements in Product Innovations and Design".

The programme is organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, MANIT.

About the Training Programme :
Firms always strive to improve their competitive position in the intense global competition as a result of rapid technology changes and shifting pattern of world markets. One of the strategies of improving the performance of a firm is development of new products with lower cost, higher quality, and at higher speed. Understanding of structured product innovation and development processes is utmost important for both academicians and industry personnel. Effective use of various product development tools and techniques, outsourcing and collaboration options help them in a great way to facilitate new product development activity in industries. In addition to development of new products, it is important to protect them in the form of patents in order to avoid counterfeiting and piracy. The course contents are prepared in order to cover all the above aspects.

Eligibility for Participation:

• The training program is open to faculty from AICTE approved engineering institutes, industry professionals and Ph.D. Research scholars.
• As the training program is of interdisciplinary in nature, faculty members and industry professionals of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer engineering disciplines may attend the programme.

Resource Persons:

Programme faculty include experts from IITs, NITs and reputed Technical/engineering Institutes, experts from industries, course coordinators and the senior faculty members of MANIT Bhopal.

The completed registration form may be sent along with Demand Draft in favour of "Director MANIT Bhopal" payable at S.B.I, MANIT Bhopal branch

Note: Seats are limited to 45 and selection will be based on first come first basis.
