MAHATRANSCO has released the 2024 recruitment notification for the position of Technician, with 444 vacancies to be filled through direct recruitment in Maharashtra. The Government organization is inviting online applications from eligible candidates with an ITI qualification.

Application Fees

For the MAHATRANSCO 2024 advertisement, candidates from the Open Category are required to pay an application fee of Rs.600/-, while candidates from Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections need to pay Rs.300/-. The payment can be made through Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card (Rupay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, or Mobile Wallets. Divyang persons, for whom the post is reserved, are exempt from the application fee.

Salary

• Senior Technician:- Rs.30,810 - 88,190/- per month
• Technician 1:- Rs.29,935 - 82,430/- per month
• Technician 2:- Rs.29,035 - 72,875/- per month

Educational Qualification

General Requirements:
Minimum qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant field experience after obtaining the diploma.
IT Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
Specific Requirements for Different Positions:
Senior Technician: In addition to the aforementioned criteria, candidates must have successfully completed the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) Level 5 examination in the relevant trades.
Technician-1: No additional requirements are specified in the official notification.
Technician-2: Candidates must have successfully completed the ITI certificate in the relevant trades.
