Maharashtra State Board Extends Class 12 Exam Form Deadline for 2025, Details Here

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has issued an important update affecting Class 12 students preparing for their 2025 board examinations. To support students and educational institutions, the board has extended the deadline for submitting examination forms.

MSBSHSE Class 12 Exam 2025 Form Deadline Extended

Let us have a look into it:

Extended Deadline for Form Submission Without Late Fee:

Starting October 31, students can submit their exam forms until November 10, 2024, without incurring any late fees. This extension offers relief to those who may have missed the original deadline, providing them with additional time to complete their registration and avoid financial penalties.

Late Registration Window With a Fee: November 15 to 22:

For students unable to register by November 10, MSBSHSE has introduced a late registration period. From November 15 to November 22, students can still submit their forms, though a late fee will apply. This second window caters to various student groups, including:

  • Business Course Students: Those enrolled in specialized business courses.
  • Re-Exam Candidates: Students reappearing to improve their scores.
  • Private Students: Individuals not affiliated with a school or attending as private candidates.
  • Grade Improvement Applicants: Those looking to improve their previous scores.
  • ITI Subject Students: Students who have chosen ITI-related subjects.

Online Application Process for Convenience:

To make registration as efficient as possible, the entire application process is conducted online. This digital approach helps streamline form submissions for students and their respective educational institutions, simplifying the logistics of exam preparation.

Impressive Pass Rates in Previous Academic Year:

Reflecting on the previous academic session, MSBSHSE reported strong results for both Class 10 and Class 12 exams:

  • Class 10 Exams: Approximately 15 lakh students appeared between March 1 and March 26, achieving an impressive pass rate of 95.81%.
  • Class 12 Exams: A pass rate of 93.37% was recorded, with girls leading the way at 95.44% compared to boys at 91.60%. The Konkan division emerged as the top-performing region for both sets of exams, showcasing exceptional academic achievement.

Schools and Junior Colleges Must Submit Pre-Lists by November 27:

To ensure a well-organized examination process, MSBSHSE has mandated that schools and junior colleges submit a pre-list of students along with the fee challan to their respective divisional boards by November 27. This administrative requirement is crucial for the efficient management of student registrations and the smooth operation of the exams.

A Student-Centric Approach to Exam Registration:

By extending the registration deadline for the 2025 Class 12 exams, MSBSHSE demonstrates its dedication to reducing the pressures of exam preparation. The decision is part of the board's broader commitment to creating a supportive and accommodating environment for students. With extended deadlines and an easy-to-navigate online application system, the board continues to prioritize the academic well-being and success of Maharashtra's students, empowering them to focus on their studies without added stress.
