According to President of School Headmasters' Charitable Association Zafar Khan, "The government should postpone the exams for at least a month and I urge the government to take further review on the basis of the number of cases. I have talked to many parents and their views are also the same that conducting exams will increase the risk to their child's health."

Gaikwad is expected to hold a meet with officials and make a formal announcement regarding the situation by April 9, 2021.
