The Maharashtra government has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling 405 vacancies to the post of Junior Engineers (JE) with the Public Works Department (PWD) of the State from 05 January 2019 onwards. The last date for application is 25 January 2019.
Desirous candidates seeking application for the post of Junior Engineers (JE) with the Maha PWD in Mumbai must have attained 18 years of age and not exceeded 32 years.
The total number of vacancies to be filled is 405, who will be appointed/placed at various PWD sections/offices in Maharashtra. These vacancies are divided as per the categories as notified in the notification.

Educational Credentials And Application Fees
Candidates seeking application for the post of Junior Engineers (JE) with the Maha PWD must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a government-recognised organization/institute.
Candidates are required to pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 450/- (General) and Rs. 250/- towards application processing through online modes (net-banking/debit/credit payment gateways)
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates to the post of Junior Engineers (JE) under Maha PWD department will be based on a written exam comprising four sections - English, Marathi Language, General Studies and Logical Reasoning Test followed by a personal interview
The selected candidates will be a paid an emolument of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34,800/- per month + Rs. 4300/- as Grade Pay.
