The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the registration deadline for both the physics, chemistry, and maths (PCM) group, and the physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB) group. Candidates will now have an additional week to register for the MHT CET 2024 for both PCB and PCM groups, with the new deadline being March 8.

Candidates who have not yet registered for the entrance exam can do so at cetcell.mahacet.org. According to a notification issued by the State Common Entrance Test Cell in Mumbai, the MHT-CET-2024 entrance examination, which facilitates admissions to professional courses in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy, Planning, and Agricultural Education for the academic year 2024-25, will be conducted at various examination centers within and outside Maharashtra State. The notification further mentions that the online form filling activity, initially scheduled to end on March 2, 2024, has been extended to March 8, 2024.
How to Apply for the MHT CET 2024 ?
- Go to the official MAHACET website at mahacet.org.
- Locate and click on the registration link for MHT CET 2024 on the homepage.
- You will be directed to a new page where you need to register yourself.
- Complete the registration process and proceed to fill out the application form.
- Fill in all the required details, pay the application fees, and then submit the form.
- Download and print a hard copy of the submitted application for future reference.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹1000 for candidates belonging to the open category from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), and J & K Migrant candidates. For candidates belonging to Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, EWS] and Person with Disability (PWD) within Maharashtra State, the application fee is ₹800.
